About Villa Condominium

Villa Condominium is a residential condominium in the Taman Desa Relau part of Sungai Ara, on the island side of Penang. It suits people who want to live in a condominium on the southern part of the island rather than on the mainland. Condominiums in Malaysia usually come with shared common areas looked after by a management body, so day-to-day living is shaped by how the building is run as well as by the unit itself. If you are comparing homes in this part of Penang, Villa Condominium is one of many residential options in the area.

Living here: what to check before you buy or rent

Before you commit, ask the agent or the building management about the tenure, the current maintenance fees and sinking fund, and which facilities are available to residents. View the actual unit rather than relying on photos, and look at the condition of lifts, corridors, parking and common areas. Buyers should check the title type and confirm that the seller owns the unit, and it is sensible to ask whether there are any outstanding charges on the unit. Tenants should read the tenancy agreement carefully, including the deposit, notice period and who pays for repairs. Comparing a few units in this building and in nearby developments will help you judge whether an asking price or rent is fair.
